Orkla Foods Sverige intends to develop a market leading approach to sustainability. This will guide their vision, mission, goals, plans and actions during the time period 2020-2030. Orkla wanted to ensure actual social-ecological sustainability to be central to all their business and product development, adding market uniqueness and value.
Planethon’s role was to deep-dive into Food Systems research in the Nordics and weave the research into a strategic plan that will define the company’s business strategy from 2020-2030 leading their transformation into a vanguard company of a sustainable food system.
The outcome of this project was a strategy rooted in scientific insights and 10 missions Orkla and other food system actors need to undertake for a sustainable food system. We integrated that research into a defined vision, prioritized missions and an action plan to reach the desired goal
